Ευχαριστώ. Απλά στο site φαίνονται τα evo 1 που ήταν σε κυκλοφορία από το 2001 - 2006 και τα evo 2 που τα διαδέχθηκαν και είναι σε κυκλοφορία μέχρι σήμερα. http://www.aktyna.com/PRODUIT/PRODUIT.php

How did the thought that we need to use “decoupling systems” to improve the sound of our audio gear came to your mind?

It all started when I observed that if you place a tuning fork (Diapason) on the table, you are able to listen to its sound
from far away, although if you have it in your hand you have to move it closer to your ear to listen to its sound!
Because the table presents a hard surface, when the tuning fork touches it, energy is transferred directly to the table,
which then vibrates on its own, adding its own sound to the sound of the diapason.
Hard surfaces haven’t the elasticity of the air, and are able to transfer much more energy than air does. If you hit a pipe of water with a hammer, the sound will travel to a great distance.
It is the same with speakers. When a speaker plays music, the vibrations are transmitted to the floor, and accordingly, due to the hard surfaces involved, to all the furniture, the Hi-Fi Rack and all the electronic components involved.
What one should do is to keep the speaker stable, so as not to loose the dynamics or the precision of the soundstage, but at the same time not to allow the energy from the speaker to travel to the floor.
The use of “spikes” or metal “cones” does not solve the problem. Due to the very small contact surface and accordingly high pressure points, they have selectivity on the frequencies that they will transmit more favorably or less favorably, making the sound harder, mechanical, with an increasing amount of directivity that makes the sweet spot smaller. They allow more of the high frequencies to escape and less of the lower ones.
You can’t use “soft” materials because although they will absorb a part of the energy, they will make the “decay” of a wave to last much longer, giving a “nice” but imprecise and “slow” sound.

The A.r.i.s. was developed to give a solution to all these problems. How does it work?

The system incorporates two inverted aluminum construction parts, one smaller, one larger, with their flat surfaces
communicating with the outer world. This has the advantage of self-canceling a part of the vibrations going down rom the speaker, as they interact with the vibrations going from the floor to the speaker due to the classic action-reaction
principle. At the inside of the Aris a special polymer (patented) and made in Italy, is pressed with the force of six tons
and held there at a high pressure by a screw that connects the upper to the lower structure. This polymer was chosen and developed after many trials of different kind of polymers due to its great ability to transform vibrations into heat.

Is this a soft material?

Of course not! It is a very hard material, excellent in absorbing vibrations, which is made even more efficient at what it
is supposed to do by the very high pressure it is subjected to during manufacture, pressure that is sustained for ever with the screw.

How much weight can the system support?

That is a very good question.
Because we have to state something that is true but also “believable” to the public, we say that for a set of 3 you can have 300kg. (400kg for a set of 4) However I can assure you that you can safely place a weight of a ton on the set with no problem at all!
The good thing about it is that there is no ideal weight needed for the Aris to work optimally as is the fact with some of
the other technologies. You can start with a weight as low as 1.5kg for a very light piece of electronic equipment - 0.5 kg per one “base”. This is one of the reasons it works so well with DVD players, CDR, video projectors, video players etc, and not only with speakers, Hi End CD players, turntables and power conditioners. You can even use them under your Hi-End cables!

Should the Aris be placed directly on the component chassis?

Certainly! Never on the feet or cones. It can also be screwed on the speaker, if you like, for security reasons (children etc), using four different kinds of accessory adaptors including the standard 6mm, 8mm and 5 1/16.
