.... ετοιμάζεται να βγάλει η Philips μέχρι τον Μάιο, έγραψε ο "Ήχος" του Ιανουαρίου. Κι αν θυμάμαι καλά θα υποστηρίζει μέχρι 1080p. Επειδή είναι εξαιρετικά ενδιαφέρον gadget για πάρα πολύ κόσμο, μήπως έχουν κάποιοι φίλοι περισσότερες γνώσεις επ' αυτού, ώστε να μας δώσουν τα φώτα τους;

Avocent today announced MPX1000 HD Multipoint Extender which can transfer HD video up to 1080i and graphics signals up to 1280x768 wirelessly. Suffice to say, there is a wired connectivity option as well and the transmitter can serve multiple receivers. The distance for wirless operations is 150 feet through walls or up to 1000 feet in line of sight with optional directional antenna.

Since claimed as the first device on the market with wireless HD capabilities MPX1000 uses its "firstness" to cut corners until the next release. There are still some things that can be improved to accomodate home theater needs. One of these is the lack of multi-channel audio transfer - device only supports stereo audio transfer. Not the end of the world, but could have been done even in the first release given that audio uses much less bandwidth. The good news for 2.0 channel home theater buffs - MPX1000 can do balanced audio as well.

The video is accepted via HDMI or optional DVI ports and compressed in real-time before hitting the air or the wire. Company does not specify the compression rate nor the algorithm.
Along with audio and video, MPX1000 also transfers the IR signal data which makes the device work as an IR blaster.

Avocent is demonstrating MPX1000 at CEDIA 2006. There is no mention on how soon MPX1000 will be available to purchase nor for how much. I will keep you posted.

Οπως και να εχει το θεμα η ασυρματη μεταδοση εχει περισσοτερα προβληματα απο την ενσυρματη...
και αλλωστε τι κερδιζουμε? Ενα καλωδιο λιγοτερο...

Δεν νομίζω να μ'αφήσει η γυναίκα να σκάψω ταβάνι πάλι και ξανά σπατουλάρισμα-τρίψιμο-βάψιμο. Φαντάσου τι θα γίνει το σαλόνι μου!

Το ερώτημα είναι αν θα δουλεύει σωστά γιατί ακόμα και κάποια λίγο πιο φτηνά καλώδια είναι χειρώτερα κι απο component.

τώρα που το λές, αγόρασα καραφθηνό καλώδιο 3 μέτρα HDMI/HDMI απο το ΠΛΑΙΣΙΟ (9 ευρώ) Και με τίποτε δεν μπορεί να πάιξει απροβλημάτιστα 1080p. Κάνει μαυρίσματα κάθε 5-10 δευτερόλεπτα. Το δοκιμάσαμε σε mediabox και σε KISS DP600 με τον Optoma 81.

Οπότε όποιος κάνει "χτίσιμο" 10μετρου καλωδίου HDMI ας το έχει τεστάρει αρκετά πρίν το ενσωματώσει...

Το καλοκαίρι που έσκαψα ταβάνι για να περάσω τάση,S-vhs,Component, έγινε χαμός. Ξαναέβαψα όλο το σπίτι με την ευκαιρία. Δεν πέρασα όμως Hdmi διότι είχε 50ευρώ το 1,5μέτρο, και εγώ ήθελα καμιά 8 μέτρα. Στα 8μέτρα όμως τι θα έβλεπα;:sad:

Δε βγαίνουν "πατάτες", μόνο τα φθηνά και "ανώνυμα", δύο hdmi 1,5 m πολύ γνωστής και ακριβής φίρμας και τα δύο άχρηστα.

Εν αντιθέσι με 15 m hdmi, εξίσου γνωστής και ακριβής μάρκας, περασμένο στο πάτωμα κανένα ευτυχώς πρόβλημα και χτυπάω ξύλο τώρα που το γράφω.

φυσικα υπαρχει και η περιπτωση να φταιει και το player αν δε δινει 100% εντος προδιαγραφων σημα, απο θεμα τασης...
Επισης στο δικο μου το player ειχε προβλημα η υποδοχη του HDMI... Ειχε στραβωμενα ποδαρακια... Πολλες φορες ακομα και το πιο εμφανες προβλημα δε μας οδηγει στον ελεγχο καποιων αλλων παραμετρων που μπορει να το προκαλουν...
