Still in shock from his only son's death a decade ago, Einar has let his ranch fall into ruin along with his marriage. Now, Einar spends his days caring only for his hired handyman and last trusted friend, Mitch, who was gravely injured in an encounter with a grizzly bear. Einar intends to live out his days in this heartbroken solitude--until the very person he blames for his son's accident comes to town: his daughter-in-law Jean.
Jean shows up broke, on the run with a girl named Griff, who she swears is the granddaughter Einar never knew he had. Suddenly, Einar's quiet life is turned upside down as anger and accusations resurface. But slowly, miraculously, 11 year-old Griff's curiosity about Western life, and her longing for a family and a father figure, begin to chip away at the stone that has become Einar's heart--opening up the way for unexpected connection, adventure, mercy and true reunion.

Η ταινία αναφέρεται στην οικογένεια και την συγχώρεση....
Χμμμμ....όχι και πολύ πρωτότυπο θέμα.....Εεεε????
Παρ' όλα αυτά και μόνο τα ονόματα των Robert Redford & Morgan Freeman είναι ικανά να βάλουν την ταινία στην λίστα των....προσεχώς!!!!!! Και το όνομα της Lopez δεν είναι μάλλον αρκετό για να σε κάνει να την απορρίψεις......

Οι δύο μεγάλοι ηθοποιοί για ακόμη μια φορά τραβούν τα φώτα πάνω τους!
Τόσο ο (γερασμένος & κουρασμένος μόνο στο πρόσωπο) Robert  όσο και Morgan είναι σταθερές (υψηλές) αξίες και θα τους ευχαριστηθούμε! Αν μάλιστα, στο casting είχαν επιλέξει κάποια άλλη (εκτός της Lopez) τα πράγματα θα ήταν πολύ καλύτερα!!!!

Η εικόνα είναι πολύ καλή: 2,35:1
Και ο ήχος : έχουμε ένα DD 5.1


Μην περιμένετε κάτι το εξαιρετικό. Είναι μια κοινωνική ταινία, εύπεπτη (αν και με αρκετά κλισέ) και θα περάσετε χαλαρά και όμορφα σχεδόν δύο ώρες.
Μπορεί κανείς να την δει άνετα και να την προτείνει και σε κάποιον φίλο!
Και βεβαίως, αυτό κάνω κι εγώ!!!!! 8)
