Magnetic circuit

Once the mechanical assembly had been perfected the next area to which particular attention was paid was the magnetic circuit.

From numerous tests carried out on a variety of materials and configurations, it was established that different types of magnetic materials exert a subtle influence on the perceived quality of the final sound.

After further extensive research the optimal magnetic circuit was found to be electro magnetically generated. This, however, requires a separate DC power supply and is very costly to implement. Therefore, only a cartridge producing the absolute ultimate in performance could employ such a system… and the IO Limited was born.

Ο Michell έφτιαχνε φασόν εξαρτήματα για τα ιρλανδικά Transcriptors, και πουλούσε το Hydraulic Reference με τη δική του φίρμα στο UK. Το κρατούσε πάντα κακία ο David Gammon που κέρδισε την φήμη ο Michell από την ταινία "Το κουρδιστό πορτοκάλι" ενώ ο ιρλανδός έμεινε στην αφάνεια.

δεν ξερω αμα ειναι το σωστο νημα αλλα ειδα αυτο χτες και ηθελα καπου να το ποσταρω. και μιας που μιλαμε για αυτο ετσι κι αλλιως, παρτε το. Καποιος εφτιαξε ενα πλαισιο gyro 1:1 απο χαλκο και το πουλαει στο eBay. As one does, ετσι απλά.

Το gyro έβγαινε και σε μπρονζε με καφέ καπάκι. Πολύ σπάνιο.

Καθόλου σπάνιο. Ήταν θέμα παραγγελίας. Υπήρχαν 3 αποχρώσεις και στο gyrodec και στο orbe. Πλέον υπάρχουν περισσότερες. Στο orbe μάλιστα το καπάκι μπορούσε να έχει άλλη απόχρωση από την βάση.
