Kαι πρέπει να απενεργοποιήσεις την on board κάρτα ήχου από το BIOS!
(Τουλάχιστον έτσι λέει στο manual).

κ αυτό το έχω κανει από τότε που είχα την sounblaster πάνω..
κατέβασα και εγκατεστησα και το foobar.
συγγνώμη πάντως αν γινομαι κουραστικός...

1)Θέλει απεγκατάσταση και η soundblaster.

2)Δώσε στην αναζήτηση του AV SITE "FOOBAR" και θα βρεις όλα τα σχετικά με τις ρυθμίσεις που πρέπει να γίνουν.

3)Αφού το φτιάξεις να είναι bitperfect, μετά θα πρέπει να βάλεις και ASIO για να παίξει η κάρτα σωστά.

Λοιπόν έβαλα το foobar
εγκατέστησα το asio (από το site του foobar) στα components του foobar
από τα preferencers επέλεξα output device: Asio Xonar essence ST ASIO..

το volume στο control panel της κάρτας είναι πλεον ανενεργό..
επίσης μου κανει mute τους ήχους από τα windows, facebook youtube κτλ αλλα διορθώνεται αν επιλέξω διαφορετική output device :109:

επειδή για μενα αυτά τα νερά είναι πολύ βαθειά για κολύμπι μπορείτε να μου πείτε αν το έκανα καλα ή μήπως πρέπει να κάνω και καμμιά άλλη ρύθμιση?

Σωστός!

1)Το να μην είναι λειτουργικό το volume, δείχνει ότι πέτυχες την bit perfect λειτουργία!

2)Οι ήχοι των windows δεν λειτουργούν γιατί παρακάμπτονται. Και όλη η κονσόλα ήχου των windows θα πρέπει να μην σου λειτουργεί. Έτσι πρέπει.

3)Υπάρχει μία λεπτομέρεια και στο mixer της κονσόλας.

Στο playback, οι θέσεις των συρόμενων ποντεσιομέτρων πρέπει να είναι πάντα στην μυστήρια θέση 76%. Στο δείχνει κλικάροντας με το mouse. Aν το πας παραπάνω ενεργοποιείται κάποιο limiter, παρακάτω κάνει truncate στο σήμα!

Oι πρώτες συγκριτικές εντυπώσεις στην οικογένεια, προερχόμενες από κοινούς θνητούς: (τι τραβάμε και μεις οι μαθητευόμενοι- περιπλανώμενοι, ψευτοημίθεοι!).

1)"It has arrived!
Man its heavy, both in terms of weight of the unit and bass reproduction. However its for now very unimpressive in terms of sound quality and basically everything apart from the build quality. Running it with Foobar and Asio trough bit-perfect mode, and I'd say its not as good as the ST, not even the head amp has more power than the ST, my DT880's get louder out the ST. The sound clarity is just not there. Everything sounds small, congested and muddy. Might be because its still new, but apart from the great build quality, I'd not pay more than 100$ for this thing. Good thing I can return within 8 days. Tomorrow I'll go..."

2)"God this thing is overpriced. Honestly, as a DAC alone, ST is better, it just sounds cleaner and...more solid, and true to what is on the recording. E1 only seems to have more bass....everything else is better on STX, bigger soundstage, cleaner sound, more details, etc. So, as DAC, it fails. As a headphone amp, it actually has less juice than the ST as well, can't run my DT880's 600 as loud, in fact, as you see it on the picture, its on the full volume, and its actually not even what I'd consider normal listening volume on most music. Not loud in any sense of the word, and too silent on some recordings.

Δύο διαφορές είναι σίγουρες:

1)Δεν προβληματίζεσαι πλέον για το ποια είναι η βέλτιστη θέση του volume γιατί είναι πλέον εκτός λειτουργίας.

2)Η έξοδος είναι bitperfect.

Για διαφορές στην ποιότητα του ήχου δεν μπορώ να πω, γιατί δεν πρόλαβα να ακούσω.

Eπειδη εχω κι εγω μια,θα ηθελα να ρωτησω πως μπορουμε να δουμε ποιους drivers εχει τωρα,ωστε να συγκρινουμε με τους τελευταιους,και πως τους βαζουμε,αν τελικα χρειαζεται;
Και δευτερον,εχω αγορασει απο το eBay,ενα "ρολοι" υψηλης ακριβειας,για ελαττωση του jitter.Εμαθα οτι ειναι πολυ δυσκολο να αντικαταστησω το ¨μαμα" ρολοι,διοτι χρειαζονται δυο κολλητηρια ταυτοχρονα.
Ξερεις κανεις τιποτα γι αυτο,και υπαρχει κανεις που να μπορει να κανει αυτη τη... μεταμοσχευση με ασφαλεια;

Περιμένω σύντομα να έρθει και η δικιά μου st. Διαβάζω εδώ και καιρό το νήμαμαπό τη αρχή και μπορώ να πω πως έχει πολλά χρήσιμα πράγματα. Μπράβο!
