Η Πολωνία είναι πιο κοντά πάντως απο την Αμερική (και χωρίς τελωνείο!)

Αναφέρομαι στην υπαρξη ή οχι service στην Ευρωπη, οχι αντιπροσώπου.
Θα αναλαβει ο Πολωνος τα εξοδα μετακίνησης προς και απο ΗΠΑ σε περίπτωση βλάβης; Κατι γραφει στα Πολωνικά στο site του για την εγγυηση, αλλα δεν μπηκα στον κοπο να επικοινωνησω για τον εξής λογο:
στο site του εχει το μοντελο με εξοδο HDMI 1.4, σε τιμη που μπορει να αγοραστει το 2.0 απο Αμερική συνυπολογιζοντας τους φορους/δασμους/μεταφορικά, αρα δεν συμφερει καθόλου.
Το εχω ψαξει διεξοδικά.
Ετσι και αλλιως θα περιμενω να δω πως θα τιμολογησουν το Atmos εντος των επομενων εβδομάδων, φαινεται πως θα βγαίνει λιγο κάτω απο το 4χιλιαρο με δασμους. Οπότε καλυτερη επιλογη απο Arcam.
Το Yamaha 5100 ομως φαινεται πολυ τιμια προταση.
Ισως να πρεπει να περιμενω το 5200.

Χωρις να ξερω, θεωρω πως ειναι δεδομένο ότι η υποχρεώση σου φτάνει μέχρι την Πολωνία. Κι εδω να πας να αγοράσεις κάτι αμερικάνικο, ο πωλητής έχει την υποχρεώση να στο φτιαξει/αντικαταστήσει.
Πάντως για έναν Lumagen που πήρα απο εκει και ήταν χαλασμένος, δεν είχα σχέση εγω με Αμερική. Αυτός φρόντισε για την αντικατασταση. Επίσης για την διαθεσιμότητα/τιμή/εγγυηση, συνετό είναι να επικοινωνήσεις μαζί του και να ρωτήσεις. Όλα τα άλλα είναι υποθέσεις.

Unit was on display as a unit with the lid off (pictures follow in later posts) and demo’d in a system. Per Lonnie, the hardware is done, there is test software which must pass certifications (DTS, Dolby, Dirac, HDCP) and Dirac is still working with Analog Devices on the Dirac implementation that will be used. In a Q&A session, Walter and Dan said timing could be ~1Q18 if all goes as planned. They home for in-home testing by end of this calendar year.
Lonnie indicated that the new processors being used allow full object oriented Atmos enablement (which others do not do) and that it will become the new standard once launched. Emotiva has been partnering with Analog Devices to take their new (as yet unreleased to the public) “Griffin Light” DSP’s and integrate them into a first ever product. They have ~4x the processing power of other chips used in Atmos systems to date.
The unit has the processing power to support all channels up to 192K with Dirac. Per Lonnie, it’s up to Dirac and AD whether that is leveraged or not, but Emotiva has been told it will be 96k at a minimum. Similarly, it has enough memory to have >1 DIRAC preset, but that is also up to Dirac/AD. Dirac Unison or whatever version is used is also up the Dirac/AD but per Lonnie it’s “in the cards” for the RMC (but not necessarily for the XMC-1).
Regarding expansion bays, the RMC-1 has 3 and various options are in the works. Including cards for: more HDMI in or outs, more analog inputs (including a phone stage, more balanced in’s, more RCA in’s), an Alexa board (!) so the unit can take Alexa commands!, and HDMI transmitter (to transmit to other units in your home), more digital inputs, AND…a wifi unit (so you could, for example, stream audio via wifi to the XMC-1 which would play it. Any app you have on a phone, tablet, PC, etc. that can output the sound via wifi could be sent to the RMC-1 via this board. Got Tidal on a Surface Pro? Send Wifi out to the RMC. Got Spotify/Pandoro/etc? Send it to the RMC. Prices are not set for these card, but some could be fairly inexpensive (for example, think of the XPS-1 phono stage cost as a reference).
The unit also features:
- 2 displays (a left and a right) which are configurable to show what you want.
- 1 AKM 32 bit/384K DAC and 1 analog resistor volume control per channel, with each channel fully balanced.
- 450 mHz Quad Core Next Gen SHARC Processing
- 19 Ghz HDMI 2.0b on all inputs/outputs.
- A very short path from the DAC to the output stage (~25 mm)
- Very low noise
- A switching power supply that gives lower noise than prior power supplies.
- “All the basic Dolby required formats” (9.1.6 – done discrete, not matrixed, 9.1.4, 7.1.4, etc.) with the outputs being fully configurable
- Emotiva has an Auro 3D license, and Emotiva is meeting with them at CEDIA. There are not final decisions on Auro 3D, but they have test code and are talking.

εγινε παρουσιαση του rmc και στην axpona , οπου ανακοινωσαν οτι δουλευουν πανω σε expansion module οπου θα υποστηριζει ισοσταθμιση 6 subwoofer (ακους dimifoot?) με dirac. αρα πλεον μιλαμε για τον επομενο pro μου , που θα υποστηριζει 16 discrete channels without matrixing και 6 sub με μονο 5000$.
