"This model is an evolution of the V1.

Changes include full tenon and mortise construction, extensive bracing, 2" front and back machined boat-tails baffle boards, massive baseboard fitted with custom steel tips. A new machined connector plate features two sets of custom binding posts. Bass tuning is now user adjustable via two machined bandpass ports.

The new enclosure is available in piano black and piano black with rosewood trim (pictured) or ebony trim. Deep luster finish is hand rubbed with 11 coats of piano lacquer.

What did not change is the 6.5 i" paper/wool driver with cast frame, Vifa XT19 ring radiator and proprietary VFlex which acoustically extends bass output via bandpassed horn loading. As usual, the midwoofer is used in fullrange mode with no passive (or active) component, with significant output up to 10kHz. The Vifa ring radiator kicks in at a very high 6kHz via a first order network.
Cabling is DH Labs SilverSonics.
Efficiency is 91.5dB, iImpedance is 4 ohm nominal (3,7 ohms minimum, 7 ohms median).
