Perfectly Dampened Polymer Concrete Enclosure
Custom-developed high-performance polymer concrete enclosure has no parasitic resonances and does not distort the true sound of speakers.
In case of musical instruments, like a violin or a trumpet, a highly resonant corpus material is needed to achieve their typical sound signature. In case of loudspeakers, the less the enclosure resonates itself, the better. A sound then radiates only from the speaker drivers and it is not distorted by any unwanted parasitic resonances. A monolithic concrete enclosure with multiple layers of vibration absorbing materials achieves this perfect result.
Ultra Wide Sweet Spot
Sound is evenly distributed and a “Sweet Spot” is much wider than usual.
In most situations, typical high end speakers deliver the best sound only in a very small and limited space, usually on the center axis and only in certain distance. This effect is called sweet spot. Thanks to its unique wide and even dispersion technology, Gravelli Bespoke Audio has much wider Sweet Spot, allowing up to 5 people to sit and listen within.
BMR Technology
In a traditional loudspeaker, the diaphragm acts as a “rigid piston” at low frequencies, but turns into a multimodal object when approaching its so called “breakup region”.
In a BMR, there is no “break-up region”. Instead, a limited number (usually 2 – 4) of evenly spread modes are carefully positioned within the frequency band. The modal, bending-wave operation starts in the frequency range where the piston-like operation of the panel would otherwise cause the driver to beam. The result is a drive unit that operates like a piston at low frequencies but becomes a bending wave device at high frequencies. Thanks to the bending wave operation, the drive unit demonstrates wide dispersion even at high frequencies. Acoustically, the behaviour of a BMR approximates to the ideal “point source”.
Highly Efficient, Long-throw, Passive Radiator Assisted Subwoofers
Thanks to custom tuned passive radiators, working perfectly matched together with our damped concrete enclosure and active DSP amplifier technology, we were able to achieve surprisingly strong and deep bass reproduction, which is normally impossible with enclosures of similar size.
