Yep - that's the new title! MTV held its Video Music Awards tonight and Indiana Jones IV star Shia LaBeouf confirmed that the new title will officially be Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

What exactly is the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull? What's the story?

The crystal skulls turn out to be alien skulls, underneath a Mayan or Aztec pyramid that takes off and thus reveals itself to be a mothership of sorts.

Ένας από τους κομπάρσους του «Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull» ονόματι Tyler Nelson, αποφάσισε να χρησιμοποιήσει την ταινία για να κερδίσει τα 15 λεπτά δημοσιότητας του, και αποκάλυψε στην εφημερίδα Edmond Sun της Οκλαχόμα σημαντικές λεπτομέρειες της πλοκής του έργου.
Αυτή τη φορά ο Indy έχει να αντιμετωπίσει το Σοβιετικό στρατό, καθώς και οι δύο ψάχνουν για ένα κρανίο στις ζούγκλες της Νότιας Αμερικής. Οι Ρώσοι όχι μόνο βρίσκουν το κρανίο, αλλά πιάνουν και τον αρχαιολόγο όμηρο, εκβιάζοντας τον ότι αν δεν συνεργαστεί θα σκοτώσουν τη μητέρα του γιου του, Marion Ravenwood, την οποία υποδύεται και πάλι η Karen Allen.
Ο Nelson πήρε τόση φόρα, ώστε έφτασε στο σημείο να αποκαλύψει και ότι η Cate Blanchett, ο ρόλος της οποίας στην ταινία δεν είχε διευκρινιστεί μέχρι τώρα για καθαρά διαφημιστικούς λόγους, δεν είναι η αγαπημένη του Indiana, όπως πολλοί υπέθεταν, αλλά η μισητή εχθρός του, μια σκληροπυρηνική Ρωσίδα ανακρίτρια.
Σύμφωνα με δημοσιεύματα, οι αποκαλύψεις του Nelson έχουν ενοχλήσει ιδιαίτερα τον σκηνοθέτη Steven Spielberg και τον παραγωγό George Lucas, οι οποίοι έχουν αρνηθεί επανειλημμένα να κάνουν οποιοδήποτε σχόλιο για την υπόθεση της ταινίας και έχουν βάλει όλους τους πρωταγωνιστές να υπογράψουν συμφωνία μυστικότητας. Μάλλον έπρεπε να κάνουν το ίδιο και με τους κομπάρσους…

Στις 11 οκτωβριου ολοκληρωθηκαν τα γυρισματα της ταινιας και στο επισημο site μπορειτε να δειτε ενα video απο εκεινη τη μερα και πολλα αλλα καλουδια για την ταινια η οποια θα κανει πρεμιερα στις 22 μαιου 2008 !!

Το πρωτο τραιλερ αναμενεται τα χριστουγεννα, οποτε μεχρι τοτε δειτε μερικες ακομα φωτος απο τα set της ταινιας.

Is This An Early Description Of The INDIANA JONES 4 Trailer?!

Here is the info:

The trailer starts off with the Paramount logo, then shows the idol from the start of RAIDERS.

Words come across the screen and say, "He found the Ark..."

Then clips from TEMPLE OF DOOM as it says, "He survived the Temple..."

Then clips of the third movie and, "He saved the Grail."

Then it shows a clip of a car pulling up and Indiana being thrown from the car. Then it says, "On May 22nd... he is back," and it shows him picking up his hat and the silhouette of Indiana Jones. Cue theme song.

Some really fast action scenes follow, and the highlight is a car chase scene in the warehouse where RAIDERS ends. One quick shot shows a box that is labled "Roswell". The trailer shows Cate Blanchett with dark hair ordering around troops.

The teaser then shows what looks to be a huge Mayan temple where the actors fall through quicksand, and the temple opens up and they start running down a long staircase where the stairs are coming out from the walls.

After some more quick action scenes, the trailer ends with Shia Labeouf standing at the bottom of stairs and looking up to Harrison Ford. Shia says, "I thought you said you were a teacher?!?!"

After two quick scenes where Indiana is punching a guy, it cuts back to Harrison and he replies, "Part time!"
