Εξερετικά πρακτικό, αφού με την αγορά ενός extra αντάπτορα-υποδοχέα (η εταιρία το ανομάζει "βραχίονα στήριξης") μπορείτε να μεταφέρετε την οθόνη στα πίσω πχ καθίσματα.
Έτσι μπορεί ο οδηγός να ακούει το πρόγραμμα που θέλει (ραδιόφωνο, cd) και τα παιδιά στο πίσω κάθισμα να βλέπουν ταινία με την χρήση ακουστικών!!

Motorised Detachable Monitor with Touch Panel Control

Call it motorised magic. First, there's fully motorised opening/closing, and tilt/fore-and-aft adjustment for best viewing position. The screen surface doubles as a touch panel, bringing simple operation to your fingertip. And with an optional cradle, you can detach and mount the monitor in the rear for your passengers to enjoy, including touch-panel and remote control operation.

Rear-Seat Entertainment

Optionally available accessories allow the detachable monitor to be mounted separately from the head unit for rear-seat entertainment. The Dual-Zone function splits the car's interior into separate, discrete spaces so people up front can listen to an audio source such as the radio or a CD, while those in the back can watch a video source such as a DVD. With touch-panel operation, rear passengers even get to operate the head unit.


User-friendly Graphical User Interface (GUI) for Intuitive Operation

The human-machine interface combines a GUI that's intuitively designed and friendly to the eyes, with touch-panel operation that brings functions to your fingertips. Selecting CD tracks or radio stations is a breeze. Choose CD tracks by song titles because the head units are compatible with CD Text and ID3 Tag (Version 1.1). 5.1ch Digital Surround with Dolby Pro-Logic II and 5-mode DSP

Compatibility with the 5.1ch Dolby Digital/DTS surround sound format lets you create a realistic sound field onboard your car. With Dolby Pro Logic II, you can generate the excitement of 5.1ch surround sound with any 2ch stereo source like CDs and FM broadcasts. Also included is a DSP function that lets you easily select from five modes (HALL, LIVE, CLUB, DOME, THEATRE) to recreate various acoustic environments in your car, as well as make fine adjustments for seat position, speaker size and other variables in your car's listening environment


Versatile Terminals to Upgrade In-Car A/V Systems

The 5.1ch Pre-out terminals enable connection of an external amp to create a higher-grade in-car theatre system. And with 2 pairs of AV input terminals, as well as a AV output terminal, flexible system expansion is afforded with the ability to accept input signals from external video sources including third-party rear-view cameras to confirm safety when backing up, as well as to output to a separate monitor unit enabling multi-monitor entertainment for rear seat passengers. Their gold plating ensures long-term durability and reliability.

The KD-AV7001 features 4 x 50W (Front/Rear), 1 x 35W (Centre) high power. Class-leading high power yields the extra large reserves demanded by the wide dynamic range of digital sources, which includes MP3. Upgrading to higher system performance is possible without requiring additional amplifiers.


Optional Accessories to Expand Entertainment Possibilities

With the Cradle Unit KV-CR101 mounted behind the driver's or front passenger's headrest, it's possible to detach the KD-AV7001's 7" widescreen monitor and move it back for rear seat passenger enjoyment. The cradle unit supports controls signals as well as audio/video signals, so it's possible for passengers to use the touch panel interface and control their entertainment. The TV Tuner Unit KV-C1001 comes with tuner and aerial to instantly upgrade the system for TV viewing. To give the system true authentic 5.1ch sound performance, there's the 6.6cm 2-Way Centre Speaker CS-CN100. And by installing additional KV-MAV7001 7" Detachable Monitor Unit, you can share the entertainment with even more passengers.
