Excuse me for English talking, but I'm not that familiar to Greek, although I can understand reading it almost perfectly!
In 2005 I bought my Infocus SP 5700 at the price of aprox. 4.000 euros, which it was a brake-through target for me and I have to say I was totally satisfied for the next 4 years which I enjoyed it to the maximum since its a top level projector by my opinion.
Then a new baby came home and watching movies at nights became almost a mission impossible , so for three years (2009-now) my 5700 was "sleeping". Yesterday I tried to bring my pj back to life again but when it started I was so disappointed looking all over the screen about 50 vertical white stripes (lines) and two horizontal thick black lines , all from side to side! The lamp still ok, but what is that lines about?
Please, can anyone inform me what my next move should be? Can I do anything by my self or do I have to pack it to the company's service? Is it a big failure?
I tried the method of disconnect the pj for an hour and the "push it" on the top , some one told me that way the mother board will connect firmly on its position, and though I found that too silly to be effective I tried it, but nothing happened!
Any ideas....?
