και τελικοιThe AV7005 is the new flagship preamplifier from Marantz, and deservedly so. It's got six HDMI 1.4 inputs that support 3D and an audio return channel as well as a pair of similarly capable outputs. The 7005 handles HD audio of all kinds and includes support for Dolby ProLogic IIz.

It's packed with Audyssey features like DSX room EQ processing and MultiEQ XT. It's capable of streaming from your home network or from a range of internet radio sources and will run you $1,499 when it launches in October. The MM7055 and MM7025 are new amplifiers from Marantz that sport the same great look that you're used to from Marantz products. Both amplifiers were designed with full compatibility in mind, but the 7055 is built specifically to work with the AV7005 preamp.

It's got a discrete current feedback amplifier that pumps out 140 watts to each of its five channels. Hooking it up via XLR to the AV7005 means 140 watts to five channels at eight ohms. If you're looking for seven channels of amplification, or just a little more power, you can add on the MM7025 – a two channel power amplifier. Both the MM7025 ($799) and MM7055 ($1,199) are slated for a September release

Δεν νομίζω ότι έχω δει ομορφότερο ενισχυτή AV:111:

Με τιμή $1600 στην άλλη πλευρά του Ατλαντικού και 1400 λίρες στην Αγγλία, πόσο άραγε θα φτάσει να έχει εδώ? Μακάρι να έχει γύρω στα 1700 ευρώ (με την αντιστοιχία ευρώ-λίρας). Θα άλλαζα τον Onkyo 806 ευχαρίστως!!

We all want the best when it comes to our home theater components, but sometimes practicality gets in the way. Maybe you've got an AV rack in your main viewing room, but when it comes to more limited spaces, smaller components can really help out.

The NR1601 from Marantz is the latest in the slimline… line. It's just over four inches high and 13 inches deep making it half the size of a typical AVR, and the exact same size as a Marantz Blu-ray player. That kind of space economy can really pay off if you're hurting for room.

It's not the most feature packed receiver on the market. The 1601 sports four HDMI 1.4 inputs and front panel USB connectivity. It handles Dolby TrueHD and DTS Master Audio as you might expect and it's got a nice audio tool in Audyssey's Audio Calbration. You can pick up the NR1601 later this month for
