According to Nintendo executives and market analysts, the highly popular Nintendo gaming console, the Wii, will continue to experience stock shortages through the end of the year.
Nintendo has had tremendous success with the new console, outselling the PS3 by 200%, despite having only been available for 8 months. Now in its 33rd week of sales, the Wii has continued to be a highly unavailable yet highly demanded product throughout its lifespan.
With these shortages expected to continue until after this year’s holiday season, you might want to make try some of your Christmas shopping early if the Wii is on your agenda.
