PopCorn Hour A100 €199

Hi all,

We not came public yet but have the option to "buy-in" on the PopCorn
A-100 units. If we decide to go with this, the units will be available middle
November 2007. Our targeted price will be €199 (not a penny more or we
blow it of) and the units will be covered by EU warranty so no shipping back
to China or Korea and Taiwan.

(Notice, this includes import 14%, VAT 19% and shipping a load over to the
EU. Buyers ordering from the PoPCorn web site should include these costs
as well to reach the real end user price))

Would you be interested in a reservation at MPC?

Just post and if we decide to go on with the order, your vote is good enough
to be inlcuded as a reservation amongst the first delivered with these units.
Notice that the units will be the US models (component Rca) and will pass
CE certification before being imported.

PS: 100 units are already reserved, more possible depending on the feedback

Είναι κάμποσο, ναι, ειδικά άμα σε τρώει η τσέπη σου.
Εγώ το είχα ξεχάσει ότι είχα γραφτεί να καταλάβεις - βοηθάει για να μην έχεις αγωνία!

Μου ήρθε email μετά από 1.5 μήνα περίπου και μου έδιναν περιθώριο 4-5 ημερών να παραγγείλω τα κομμάτια που μου αναλογούν (δεν θυμάμαι το όριο, αλλά έλεγαν πως αν υπάρχει μεγάλη ζήτηση διατηρούν το δικαίωμα να σου δώσουν μόνο ένα κομμάτι).

Το έχει πάρει τελικά κάποιος στα χέρια του?
Αν και φαίνεται ότι άρχισαν να κάνουν την εμφάνιση τους και
άλλα παρόμοια προϊόντα (πλην ελάχιστα) συνεχίζει να είναι
το πιο "προκλητικά" φτηνότερο
179$ με την τωρινή ισοτιμία ευρώ-δολλαρίου...
να ξέραμε και τα έξοδα μεταφοράς...

Δεν θυμάμαι ακριβές ποσό αλλά θυμάμαι ότι μου έβγαινε 150 ευρώ μαζί με τα μεταφορικά, οπότε θα είναι περίπου $55.
Δεν χάνετε κάτι να γραφτείτε στη λίστα αναμονής. Απλά κάνεις register στο site τους και δεν είσαι υποχρεωμένος να αγοράσεις όταν έρθει η "σειρά" σου.

Βασικά σήμερα ψάχνοντας για πληροφορίες όσο αφορά
το Popcorn έπεσα πάνω στο mpcclub.com όπου έχει ένα αναλυτικότατο review αλλά αναφέρεται στην κεντρική
σελίδα στο HD-X X900 NMT καθώς και στο ανταγωνιστικό
ISTAR A800.
Νομίζω ότι σιγά σιγά θα βλέπουμε όλο και περισσοτερα
players με υποστήριξη mkv.
Το αιώνιο ερωτημα ομως θα είναι... Υποστηρίζουν Ελληνικούς
Υπότιτλους...;;;

Παίζει .mkv μόνον με αγγλικούς υπότιτλους προς το παρόν. Εχω δεί όμως ότι σε επόμενο firmware update σκοπεύουν να ενσωματώσουν και Ελληνικά. Το έχω εδώ και 2 μήνες και είμαι πολύ ευχαριστημένος. Παίζει πρακτικά τα πάντα, εκτός από πολύ περίεργα 1080p που υπάρχουν ελάχιστα στην αγορά. Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα.
