Sharp supplies the TV LCD panel to Sanyo

Sanyo Electronics announced its supply plan from Sharp for the FPD TV LCD panels that are for sale in North America. Sanyo has sold 1 million LCD TV units in North American region in 2007 that the company gets its supply from other supplier as well as Sharp's LCD panel from April, 2008. Because Sharp is also expanding its supply capability, Sharp is also looking to secure more steady supply route. Sharp is expected to operate 10G LCD production facility in March, 2010 with US$ 36.45 Billion that Sony, Toshiba, and Pioneer are expected supply their panels. Sanyo has turned to positive profit margin after 4 years in 2007 with overwhelming popularity of 2nd battery and Digital Camera. Meanwhile, Sharp and Sanyo are considering a joint venture on the home appliances.
