Sony Promotes Blu-ray Exchange in Switzerland
Sony Electronics Switzerland is offering HD DVD owner the chance to trade in their now defunct HD DVD players for a Blu-ray player. When you buy either a Sony BDP-S300 or BDP-S500 Blu-ray Disc Player, you can send in your HD DVD player (to be recycled by Sony) purchased before February 29th of this year and receive a check for 200 Swiss Francs (~$190) and both 'Spider-man' and 'Pirates of the Caribbean' trilogies on Blu-ray.
For those of you in Switzerland, this is an outstanding opportunity to not only jump into Blu-ray at a discounted cost, but also receive two of the best trilogies ever released on Blu-ray. You will need your receipt of purchase in order to take advantage of this offer.
