Set Your Upload Options
Upload options allow you to choose the pixel size that your images are resized to when you upload them. You can also set your video uploads to standard or high definition, scramble filenames on upload, and add tags and descriptions after you upload.
The resized images display in your albums and are called "web-size". These are the images you link to and share.
Free accounts: You ONLY have web-size images.
Pro accounts: You have web-size images and your ORIGINAL size images (which may be high resolution). Your account displays the web-size images, and your original image of up to 20MB is saved "behind the scenes", but you can view or download it at any time. See the "Original size images" section in Pro Accounts for details.
You can change your upload options at any time.
How do I know which size to choose?
Photos are made up of little dots called pixels, each of which has a certain color and brightness associated with it. Pixels are arranged horizontally and vertically to make an image. Resolution is how many pixels you have, counted horizontally or vertically when used to describe a stored image. Digital cameras today have between 2,048 and 4,500 pixels horizontally.
Pixel Count, which is often expressed as Megapixels, is found by multiplying the number of horizontal pixels by the number of vertical pixels. For example, a 3 MP camera has 2,048 (horizontal) x 1,536 (vertical) pixels, or 3,145,728 pixels. We call this simply 3 MP.
The size of a file (megabytes--MB) is a measure of its pixels and its color, and is based on the type of file compression associated with the file. For example, if you save the same photo as a .jpg file and as a .png file, although they would have the name number of pixels, the .jpg file would be less MB (i.e., smaller), because its format is more compressed than the .png file.
Photobucket recommends a size of 1024 by 768 pixels. The quality is good at this size, yet it is small enough to be displayed quickly when you link it to a blog or another website--unlike those photos that display bit by bit, because they are too big to display well on the internet. This size also creates a file size which is small enough to be shared via email without slowing the recipient's email download.
Note: You can print a quality 3 1/2x5 picture with an image that's 640x480.
Choose the upload options for your account
Log into your Photobucket account.
Click the Upload now button in the main navigation bar. The Uploader page displays.
Click the Customize your upload options link below the Share section.
Check it out
The options available for your account type display with the current option selected.
Check it out: Free
Check it out: Pro
Click the button next to your preferred maximum resize dimensions for your web-size images.
Notes:

If you select the 1MB file size option, you can upload an image with any pixel dimensions, and it will be resized to a web-size image of 1MB or less. Same for the 2MB option for Pro users.

If an option is grayed out, it is not available for your account type.

Select the Scramble filenames… option to scramble your filenames when you upload so no one can guess your links. E.g., You select Scramble filenames… and then upload a file named “myfile.gif”. The display name of the file in your album may be "d4ls30.gif".
Select the Permanently remove… option to strip your location data out of any photos you upload. The location data is permanently removed (as opposed to showing it or hiding it in your Album settings.)
Click the Save button.
Important! If you change the default resize maximum for web-size images, only images you upload after the change are affected. Images already in your account are not modified.

Λοιπόν.Πάτησα να κάνει upload σε 3648χ2736 δηλαδή όσο δίνει η μηχανή...

Θένκς!Αλλα την πήρα για τον πατέρα μου.Πάει ορειβασίες και ήθελα την καλύτερη compact.
Αυτή την επέλεξα γιατί
_έχει φωτεινό φακό-άρα δέν ανεβάζει πολύ το ISO όταν έχει σκοτεινές λήψεις.Υψηλό ISO σημαίνει θόρυβος για μικρούς σένσορες.
_Είναι αυτόματη.
_Έχει μεγαλύτερο σένσορα απο τον ανταγωνισμό των compact
_Έχει καλό σένσορα.Της lumix lx απ ότι είδα.
_Έχει σαρώσει τα βραβεία(και αυτό μετράει).
Θα επανέλθω και με άλλα δείγματα...

Σκεφτομαι κι εγω ν'αγορασω κατι σε αυτο το μεγεθος. Να την παρω με κλειστα ματια η να δω και τις Sony NEX, Panasonic GF2/3?
Βλεπω οτι η πιτσιρικα της Olympus εχει φωτεινο φακουδακι και καλο ευρος για τη χρηση που τη χρειαζομαι. Απο την αλλη ομως, τα σωματα micro 4/3 εχουν μεγαλυτερο σενσορακι αλλα οι φακοι εχουν αλλα f?
Για βοηθηστε λιγο παιδες να δω το φως το αληθινο...

Αν θες compact, πάρτην με κλειστά μάτια. Είναι μία από 3 τοπ.
Οι pen, gf & nex είναι σε άλλη κατηγορία. Έχουν το πλεονέκτημα του μεγάλου αισθητήρα και της εναλλαγής φακών.
Οι φακοί των κιτ είναι λίγο αργοί, αλλά υπάρχουν φωτεινότατοι prime, όπως ο panasonic 20mm f/1.7, ο οποίος είναι μόνιμα πάνω στην pen μου και οι επερχόμενοι της olympus m.zuiko 45/1.8 (στα 299 δολάρια), 12mm f/2 (ο πρώτος high grade φακός για τις pen, στα 800-850 δολάρια) και ο leica 25mm f/1.4 (στα 599 δολάρια). Εξαιρετικός είναι και ο φωτεινότατος nokton βοϊτλάντερ 25mm f/0.95, αλλά η τιμή του είναι γύρω στα 800 με 900 ευρώ.
Όπως είναι προφανές, στην περίπτωση της ΧΖ-1 τα έχεις όλα σε 1, με φωτεινό ζουμ zuiko φακό, ενώ στις περιπτώσεις των pen & panasonic gf, πρέπει να βάζεις το χέρι στην τσέπη, με αντάλλαγμα όμως τη μεγαλύτερη ευελιξία και η επιλογή τείνει να συγκριθεί με μια dslr. Η περίπτωση των nex για μένα υστερεί, διότι ο αισθητήρας είναι μεν καλός, δεν υπάρχουν όμως φακοί και δεν διαφαίνεται να υπάρξουν σύντομα (εκτός αν η sony πείσει και άλλους κατασκευαστές να μπουν στο παιγνίδι των ΝΕΧ, πλην της ιδίας βέβαια).

Τελικα αγορασα την πιτσιρικα σημερα :615:, κι αποφασισα οτι εαν ειναι να αρχισω το χομπυ με φακους-τσαντες, κλπ, θα ηταν καλυτερη λυση να αγορασω ενα μεγαλο σωμα και να κανω δουλεια...
Ελπιζω να επραξα σωστα :609: (ασε που μια compact ειναι χρησιμο να υπαρχει ετσι κι αλλιως)

Το μενου της ειναι πραγματικο σχολειο για μενα, μιας και ασχετος. Ευτυχως δηλαδη που δεν αγορασα καμια DSLR γιατι θα πηγαινε 'χαμενη' στα χερια μου σιγουρα. Η τιμη της 330 ευρω by the way. :107:
Να ομολογησω οτι οι πολλοι αυτοματισμοι καλοι ειναι, αλλα θελει και λιγο ψαξιμο για να καταλαβει κανεις τι κανει (και στην περιπτωση μου να μαθει φυσικα).
Προσπαθησα να βρω σε τι mode να τη 'δουλευω' και τα πραγματα δεν ειναι και τοσο απλα (απλα ειναι αλλα θελει δουλιτσα).
1. Επιλεγοντας 'Low Lighting' η καμερα δε χρησιμοποιει φλας καi ανεβαζει ISO-κατεβαζει aperture. Θεωρει προφανως οτι δεν εχεις τριποδο, το φλας δε θα σε καλυψει, κλπ.
2. Βαζοντας την στο auto και χωρις φλας επιλεγει χαμηλοτερο ISO αλλα θελει τριποδο. :114:
Τελικα το manual mode δεν ειναι και τοσο ασχημο...:116:
