New concept art for Captain America: The Winter Soldier debuts

Almost a year ago, Marvel Studios released our first look at their upcoming "Phase 2" films including some concept art for Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Now, the studio has debuted eight more pieces of concept art for the film featuring some interesting shots that we hope to see in the upcoming sequel. You can check them all out below.

Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige offers a Black Widow solo film update

It has been known for some time that Marvel Studios has been considering giving Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow a solo film. During a press conference today to promote their latest release, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, studio President Kevin Feige revealed that developmental work is still underway on just such a project.

"I think the idea would be great," he says. "We've got various outlines and ideas of where to take that. As Scarlett already said, there's a big element that explores her back story in an upcoming Marvel feature. The question really is, 'When will we take her out of the ensemble and have her do her own thing?' As you saw in ['Captain America: The Winter Soldier'], as you'll see in 'Avengers: Age of Ultron,' she's really the key to so much of the plot development."

Sebastian Stan reveals he has a nine-picture deal with Marvel Studios

Hopefully you like The Winter Soldier as much as Marvel hopes you're going to, because the man himself Sebastian Stan has revealed in an interview with Newsarama that he originally signed a nine-picture deal with the studio. Including Captain America: The First Avenger and the upcoming Captain America: The Winter Soldier, that leaves seven more movies for Stan to appear in as the character.

One potential route that Marvel Studios could take, given that star Chris Evans is currently only contracted for three more films, is to emulate the source material wherein Bucky took on the Captain America mantel following the untimely demise of the star spangled man. This is of course speculation on our part, and it's hard to imagine Marvel Studios killing off Chris Evans on screen. How would you like to see Sebastian Stan appear in future films?
