ABC has launched the new trailer for the fifth season of "Lost," which features music from The Fray's "You Found Me."

In the trailer at the 1:34 and 2:25 mark, the studio flashes the logo for a tie-in company called Ajira Airways, which can be visited at www.AjiraAirways.com

The trailer, which you can view below, consists of footage from last season as well as from the upcoming season. "Lost" premieres on Wednesday, January 21st at 8/7c.

Season 5 . Episode 1 - SPOILERS

1) There are two separate times. Shortly after the Oceanic 6 leave the island and three years in the future when Ben meets Jack and Jeremy Bentham's wake and tells them they have to go back.

2) Alpert is who tells Locke that they have to come back to the island

3) We will learn what happens to the on-island Losties and the folks on the boat with Faraday

4) The island's location is not the only thing that has changed. The beach camp and the Swan Hatch appear and reappear in "various states" (I assume it does NOT mean literally in different states in the US )

5) Locke is on his own not with the other Losties.

6) The Kate/Aaron sneak peek is described, but confirm the blood test is to prove if she is Aaron's mom.

7) The dead get more air time including Ana-Lucia (AL is listed for Episode 5x02)

8) The Virgin Mary Statues will reappear (I assume via the drug plane crashing again)

9) Hurley and Sayid are working together and Hurley has some great one-liners including: when Sayid turns down Hurley's offers of some french fries. "You know, maybe if you ate more comfort food, you wouldn't have to go around killing people."

10) Faraday knows more than he reveals and seems to know who to fix things on the island. He will go against the "rules" of time travel to try changing the past.

11) Juliet and Sawyer seem to be the next romantic couple on the island (speculation by the article).

LOST - SEASON 5

Η διάσημη αμερικάνικη σειρά Lost ή Αγνοούμενοι, όπως έχει επικρατήσει να είναι η ελληνική μετάφραση, που καθήλωσε όλο τον κόσμο επιστρέφει στις οθόνες μας τον Ιανουάριο του 2009 με τον 5ο και προτελευταίο κύκλο της.

Ο 5ος κύκλος, όπως και ο 6ος θα αποτελούνται από 17 ώρες προβολής. Όσον αφορά τώρα το πως θα εξελιχθεί η πλοκή στους δύο αυτούς κύκλους, ξεχάστε τα “flashbacks” και τα “flashforwards” που μπορεί να σας μπέρδευαν. Οι δημιουργοί μας πληροφόρησαν ότι δε θα στηριχθούν τόσο σε αυτήν την τεχνική πλέον…

Στον κύκλο αυτό θα δούμε και άτομα τα οποία δεν πιστεύαμε πως θα ξαναδούμε, ο λόγος για τους Rousseau (την μαχητική Γαλλίδα), Jin και Locke, οι οποίοι στον προηγούμενο κύκλο φαίνεται πως πέθαναν, αλλά παρόλʼαυτά οι σεναριογράφοι της σειράς θέλουν να μην τους ξεγράψουν τελείως και έτσι δημιουργούν ιστορίες που σαν κεντρικά πρόσωπα έχουν αυτούς, χωρίς όμως να προβούν σε “flashbacks”.

Όπως δηλώνει ο Cuse, σεναριογράφος της σειράς: “Θα παραμείνουν στη σειρά με κάποιο τρόπο. Δεν έχετε δει το τέλος τους ακόμη. Ξέρετε, ο θάνατος είναι μια σχετική έννοια. Έχετε πολλά να δείτε για αυτούς τους χαρακτήρες στη συνέχεια”.

Από την άλλη μεριά ο Daniel, ο γνωστός μας επιστήμονας με το μπλοκάκι του, τον οποίο είδαμε τελευταία φορά στο πλοίο να φεύγει πριν από την εξαφάνιση του νησιού, θα επιστρέψει, χωρίς τους άτυχους συνταξιδιώτες του, και θα μας δώσει πολύτιμες πληροφορίες για το παρελθόν και το παρόν.

Επίσης πολύ περισσότερα θα μάθουμε και από τον Richard (ο αγέραστος τύπος), ίσως επιτέλους και την ηλικία του. Όσον αφορά τους Sawyer, Kate και Jack οι δημιουργοί δεν μας αποκάλυψαν ποιον θα διαλέξει τελικά η Kate, αλλά σίγουρα θα ξανασυναντηθεί με τον Sawyer.

Τέλος, στον κύκλο αυτό θα έχουμε και δύο νέα πρόσωπα την Ilanna και τον Casear . Η Ilanna θα είναι μια Ευρωπαία γύρω στα 30, η οποία φαίνεται πάρα πολύ έξυπνη, αλλά είναι και πολύ επικίνδυνη, όπως θα φανεί. Ο Casear είναι ένας επικίνδυνος, έξυπνος άντρας γύρω στα 35 με 45. Αν και οι προθέσεις του δεν είναι σαφείς, το σίγουρο είναι ότι είναι τόσο ικανός στο να γοητεύει κόσμο, όσο και στο να τον σκοτώνει.

ΔΙΑΒΑΣΤΕ ΜΕ ΔΙΚΗ ΣΑΣ ΕΥΘΥΝΗ !!!

Καταρχήν σας υπενθυμίζω πως στον κύκλο αυτό θα δούμε τους Oceanic-6 που κατάφεραν να φύγουν απ'το νησί, να προσπαθούν να επιστρέψουν πίσω!

Ποιος δε θυμάται την ιστορική φράση του Τζακ "We have to go back"!

Οι 6 ήρωες θα ανακαλύψουν την ύπαρξη σταθμών Dharma στην Αυστραλία αλλά και αλλού, τους οποίους και θα επισκεφθούν προσπαθώντας να βρουν τρόπους επιστροφής στο νησί! Ένας από αυτούς τους σταθμούς έχει ως logo έναν τυρανόσαυρο γεγονός που δικαιολογεί και τα οστά δεινοσαύρων που κείτονται πέριξ του σταθμού! (Τι διάολο στην προϊστορία θα μας πάνε?)

Στον κύκλο αυτό η Κλαιρ θα είναι μόνο guest star, όμως θα παρελάσουν πολλά άλλα παρελθοντικά ονόματα του Lost όπως ο Τσάρλι, η Άννα-Λουσία και ο μίστερ-Εκο! Η Ρουσσώ φυσικά και θα εμφανιστεί ξανά σε νεαρή όμως ηλικία!

Αυτό σημαίνει, όπως τονίζουν και οι σεναριογράφοι, πως δεν έχει σημασία το που πήγε τοπογραφικά το νησί όταν εξαφανίστηκε αλλά το που πήγε ΧΡΟΝΙΚΑ! Είναι φανερό πως τα ταξίδια στο παρελθόν και μέλλον θα είναι από τα κύρια χαρακτηριστικά αυτής της σεζόν γεγονός που θα φανεί από το πρώτο κιόλας επεισόδιο!!

Φήμες θέλουν το εναρκτήριο επεισόδιο να εξελίσσεται σε 3 παράλληλους χρόνους με διαφορετικές ιστορίες και πρόσωπα όμως δε θα μπορείς να καταλάβεις ούτε πια είναι η χρονική περίοδος, ούτε το που διαδραματίζονται τα γεγονότα! Κοινώς, ΜΠΑΧΑΛΟ! Το τέρας καπνός θα κάνει επίσης special εμφάνιση όμως η εξήγηση της προέλευσής του θα γίνει στον 6ο κύκλο!

Ο Τζην είναι ζωντανός γεγονός που θα αποκαλυφθεί στο 4ο επεισόδιο, ενώ στο 6ο επεισόδιο θα δούμε τον θάνατο του Λοκ σε τροχαίο!

Το τελευταίο επεισόδιο είναι γυρισμένο εξ'ολοκλήρου στο νησί καθώς και οι 6 θα καταφέρνουν να γυρίσουν ...

This season, the flashbacks and flashforwards will still exist, but another storytelling approach will dominate. And in classic "Lost" tradition, the producers won't explain what they're doing ahead of time.

"We're really happy with the scripts that we're writing, but at the same time, there's this complete sense of fear and second-guessing in terms of whether or not the audience is going to groove on what we're doing," co-creator and executive producer Damon Lindelof said. "The show is taking on a new model in terms of the way we tell stories and finding a balance between what's happening off the island and on the island. Are the characters having an emotional experience no matter how crazy it is? That's the part we're focused on."

The first seven episodes will focus on the aftermath of Ben's (Michael Emerson) pronouncement to Jack ( Matthew Fox) in the last scene of last season that the Oceanic 6 must all return to the island, including Locke (Terry O'Quinn), who has died. Jack's challenge is to enlist the rescued castaways to go back, but that will prove tricky since he and Kate (Evangeline Lily) have broken up; Sayid (Naveen Andrews) is trotting the globe, killing people for Ben with Hurley (Jorge Garcia) in his custody; and Sun (Yunjin Kim) has gone rogue.

Viewers also will see what's happened to Penny (Sonya Walger) and Desmond (Henry Ian Cusick) after she rescued him and learn how Locke left the island and later died. The story of Walt (Malcolm David Kelley), who left the island two seasons ago, will continue, though his father, Michael (Harold Perrineau), died attempting to return to the island in the season finale. Sawyer (Josh Holloway), Juliet (Elizabeth Mitchell) and Charlotte (Rebecca Mader) survive on the island.

"The conventional thinking might be that we're going to spend the entire season telling the story of how and if these charcters are able to make it back to the island," Lindelof said. "That's not what we're doing. Not by any stretch of the imagination."

Since death on "Lost" is a relative term, as Cuse likes to say, fans can expect to see more of Jin ( Daniel Dae Kim) whether he survived the freighter explosion or not; the mysterious Christian Shephard (John Terry), whose death caused his son, Jack, to be on the doomed airliner; and Rousseau (Mira Furlan), who was shot to death. The ageless Richard Alpert (Nestor Carbonell) will pop up again. Although fans do not know what happened to Claire (Emilie de Ravin) -- the actress does not have a regular role this season, mind you -- she will appear during the season.

For that matter, so will Vincent the dog, the only character the producers have committed to keeping alive for the entire run of the series.
