΄Εχει βγει αναβάθμιση για τον player η έκδοση v2.1,η οποία διορθώνει τα προβλήματα με το φορμάρισμα του εσωτερικού σκληρού δίσκου που είχε η v2.0.2
Οσον αφορά την v3.0 ακόμη περιμένουμε να μας δώσουν για τεστ την 3.0v2 και μετά από 2 εβδομάδες περίπου να βγει η τελική έκδοση.Εχει καθυστερήσει ήδη αρκετά και προς το παρόν δεν υπάρχει ενημέρωση πότε θα την έχουμε.

Σχετικά με το νέο firmware 2.1.0
Emergency Installation Procedure
- Download the latest Firmware from the Mede8er website;
- Unzip the file and you will find two files ie install.img and logo_pal_bmp;
- Copy both these files to the root directory of a Flash Drive;
- Plug the flash drive into the Mede8er;
- Disconnect the power jack at the rear of the Mede8er then plug it back in;
- Now press the on/off button and keep it pressed in for 10 seconds and then release;
- The LED on the from fascia of the Mede8er with flash red-blue and you will get a progress bar on your TV display;
(some TV's will not display this)
- Wait until the Mede8er re boots itself +/- 90 sec;
- Your Mede8er is now be updated;
- Re-boot once by pulling power and use as normal;
xxxx WARNING - DO NOT REMOVE POWER DURING THE UPDATE PROCESS xxxxx
NOTE: Once you update to V2 you cannot easily go back to older versions if you are using an internal Hard Drive that was formatted with the Mede8er. The update process will not damage your Hard Drive contents but the hard drive contents will not be visible to the Mede8er GUI. If you are not using an internal hard drive than you can roll back to a earlier version without any
problems.
A) Do not update the Mede8er from the built-in update facility on the Setup screen;
B) After the Firmware is installed please re-boot the Mede8er – Unplug DC Jack and then re-plug;
C) Do not do a Firmware Restore to update your Mede8er settings across versions - rather input settings manually;
D) Important: Set your TV Resolution on the Main Setup Menu – Video System - for the first time after firmware update.

Καλο θα ηταν να μην βαλετε αυτη τη version γιατι εχει αρκετα bugs.

Πριν λίγη ώρα λάβαμε την v3.0 beta 2 για τεστ!
Εκ πρώτης όψεος φαίνεται πολύ καλή!
Μέχρι τη Δευτέρα θα δώσουμε ότι παρατηρήσεις και bugs έχουμε και μάλλον προς το τέλος της άλλης εβδομάδος θα βγει η stable έκδοση για όλους!:126:

αντε επιτέλους να βγεί η 3...
Πάντως εγώ έβαλα την 2.1.0 και έτσι απλά έκανα (επιτέλους) φορμάτ τον εσωτερικο δίσκο και μετέφερα πληροφορίες...
Πάντως κατέβασα ρε παιδιά την ταινία AVATAR σε MKV, full HD 1920x1080p , σε αρχείο 22GB και απο USB εξωτερικό δίσκο έπαιζε ΤΕΛΕΙΑ χωρίς σπασίματα...!!! Φανταστείτε απο τον εσωτερικό SATA..:109:
Δεν δοκίμασα δικτυακά απο τον server σε HD την συγκεκριμένη ταινια, αλλά παίζω όλα τα υπόλοιπα, όπως τανίες HD, SD, μουσική κλπ...
Αντε να έρθει το 3 να δούμε τι γίνεται...:126:

H version 3.0 εχει bugs, μην τη βαλετε.
Ανακοινωθηκε οτι σημερα θα δωσουν την version 3.01.
Νεα τιμη 150 ευρω ( τουλαχιστον μεχρι 30/6 ).

oppοστολε ριξε και μια τιμουλα για τις εκδοσεις με το 1gb και το 1,5gb οταν αδειασεις...

Επειτα απο θέαση ταινίας Divx 1,30 ώρας περίπου, στο τέλος έκανε λές και είχε "κολλήσει" η ταινία...!!! όπως συμβαίνει σε CD ή δίσκους κλπ.
Επαιζε το ίδιο σημείο ξανά και ξανά...!!!:109:
