First photos from Transformers 4 reveal new Autobots




The very first photos from Michael Bay's Transformers 4 are here, courtesy of Yahoo! Movies They show off two of the stylish car forms that key Autobats will take on in the 2014 franchise sequel. Check out the images below of both an upcoming C7 Corvette Stingray and a $2.4 million Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse.

The newly-designed Optimus Prime for Transformers 4 revealed!




Following the reveal of two new Autobots on Tuesday, Transformers 4 director Michael Bay has now also provided a first look at the "completely upgraded, custom-built Optimus Prime from Western Star (a subsidiary of Daimler Trucks North America)."

First image of Transformers 4's newly-designed Bumblebee released




Having already revealed two new Autobots and the re-designed Optimus Prime, Transformers 4 director Michael Bay has now released a first look at the new Bumblebee which is now "a highly modified, vintage 1967 Camaro SS."

Autobot Hound revealed for Transformers 4




Michael Bay has confirmed that Hound will be appearing in Transformers 4, saying "the always rugged and reliable Hound, one of the Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles from Oshkosh Defense." You can check out a photo below!

New car revealed for Transformers 4




Following two Autobots, the redesigned Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, as well as Hound, Michael Bay has unveiled another car for Transformers 4.


His site says: "Unveiling yet another surprise . . . the extraordinary and exhilarating 2013 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Coupe."

Transformers 4 will destroy several Chinese landmarks

It has been known for sometime that there would a heavier Chinese presence in the upcoming Transformers 4. From casting Chinese actors to setting much of the film in China, it's certainly shaping up to be a little different from the previous films.


China.org.cn is reporting that a deal has been signed between the producers of the film and Chinese hotel company Beijing Pangu. In exchange for some financing, the flagship building Pangu Plaza Hotel will be featured and destroyed in the upcoming movie. In addition, the National Stadium and Beijing National Aquatic Center will make an appearance in the film, but whether or not they're reduced to rubble remains to be seen.

A Pagani Huayra joins the Transformers 4 car line-up




Michael Bay's official site has announced that a Pagani Huayra is joining the car line-up for Transformers 4.


The site says: "Considered a masterpiece of design and engineering, this fierce, 2013 blood red Pagani Huayra, is named after an ancient Andean God of Wind."

Michael Bay reveals Transformers 4's Freightliner




Michael Bay's official site has just been updated with another new automotive still from Transformers 4 and this one is quite a tease. The Freightliner truck, which you can check out below, is likely a sign that either Ultra Magnus or Motormaster will be featured in the 2014 release.


"The adventure continues to transform with a very different offering from Daimler Trucks North America," the site's official description reads. "The imposing 2014 Argosy cab-over truck by Freightliner."

Michael Bay has been filming action scenes for Transformers 4 south of Adrian, Michigan and you can check out some videos from the filming below (via 'thelifeofyourtime'). The scenes mostly involve the new Optimus Prime dodging explosions and also feature the just-announced Freightliner truck. In addition, Wrecker Leadfoot and the new Bumblebee were also spotted on location.

Bumblebee gets a 2014 upgrade in new Transformers 4 images




Although we've already seen a shot of the Autobot Bumblebee as a 1967 Camaro SS, Transformers 4 director Michael Bay has today updated his official site with new images that seem to suggest that the character will be getting a vehicular overhaul. Check out two new shots below of Bumblebee as an updated model.


"Trumpets please," the site posts. "Bumblebee, a 2014 Concept Camaro! ...the final jewel in the Transformers 4 crown."

Han Geng joins the Transformers 4 cast

Han Geng, a Chinese Mandopop singer, actor and who has been dubbed "Dancing King" and
"King of Popularity" in China, has joined the cast of Michael Bay's Transformers 4.


Michael Bay said: "He's one of Asia's top stars in the worlds of music, television and movies and has become one of the most influential entertainers in China.

Now he’ll also be known for Transformers 4. Welcome Han Geng to the cast of Transformers 4."

Titus Welliver joins Transformers 4

Titus Welliver is the latest name to join the cast of Michael Bay's Transformers 4, now in production, Deadline reports. His character has not yet been revealed.

New image from the Transformers 4 Detroit set




We've written previously about the Detroit set construction for Transformers 4, but now it looks like things are finally coming together and production will move to this location next week. Speaking with the Detroit Free Press, producer Ian Bryce said the production will be filming the final act of the film on the Detroit set, which is doubliing for Hong Kong. You can see a new image of the film's set below.
