Dhafer Youssef (born 1967 in Teboulba, Tunisia) is a composer, singer, and oud player. He developed an interest in jazz at an early age and clandestinely listened to it during his education at Qur'anic school.[1] He later left Tunisia to start a jazz career and has lived in Europe since 1990, usually in Paris or Vienna. He also works in avant garde and world music where he's been nominated for awards.[2] He has released four albums of his own and also did notable work with Sardinian trumpeter Paolo Fresu and the Norwegian guitarist Eivind Aarset. He indicates an affinity for the Music of India and Nordic music. He was a guest artist on the Norwegian jazz artist Bugge Wesseltoft's album FiLM iNG. Youssef has also performed with Uri Caine, Jon Hassell, Markus Stockhausen,[3] Nguyên Lê and the Cuban pianist Omar Sosa. In 2001 he recorded Electric Sufi with the ex-Sugar Hill Gang and Tackhead, rhythm section of Will Calhoun and Doug Wimbish.

κόσμο σήμερα. Ο Νils Petter Molvaer (Tτρομπέτα- Νορβηγος) και
με αυτόν έχει συνεργαστεί ο Dhafer Youssef , τον έχω και είναι
και αυτός καταπληκτικός .

Arild Andersen (born 27 October 1945) is a Norwegian bass player.

Born in Lillestrøm, Norway, he started out as a member of the Jan Garbarek Quartet (1967-1973), with Terje Rypdal and Jon Christensen. In the same period he also worked with the Norwegian singer Karin Krog and played in the rhythm section for visiting American musicians including Phil Woods,Dexter Gordon, Bill Frisell, Hampton Hawes, Johnny Griffin, Sonny Rollins, and Chick Corea. During this time, he also worked with Don Cherry, George Russell and Tomasz Stańko.

Andersen has recorded over a dozen albums for ECM Records as band leader and with Masqualero, and appeared on many others as side man.

In January 2009 Andersen was named Musicien Europeen 2008 by the French Academie du Jazz.[1]

Vassilis Tsabropoulos - Melos (ECM 2048)

“Melos” is the eagerly-awaited sequel to Anja Lechner’s and Vassilis Tsabropoulos’ album „Chants, Hymns and Dances“, issued in autumn 2004 to much critical and public acclaim. The focus there was on traditional Greek-Byzantine hymns and on melodies by the legendary spiritual mentor Georges Ivanovitch Gurdjieff, newly arranged by Lechner and Tsabropoulos. Gurdjieff is also included on “Melos” but the emphasis has shifted to compositions by Tsabropoulos which recreate the traditional spirit in a modern albeit still highly melodious way. Their gentle musical flow is most varied, especially when the melodies open up in large improvisational sections. The two musicians, both of them accomplished soloists in classical music, are joined now by Italian jazz drummer and percussionist U.T. Gandhi who adds new colours and subtle pulsations.

Kieran Hebden (born 1977 in Putney, London, England, United Kingdom) is a post-rock and electronic musician. Hebden first came to prominence as a member of the band Fridge before establishing himself as a solo artist under the moniker of Four Tet.

oτι βγαίνει κάποια θλίψη από τις μελωδίες του .
Οι Four tet , δεν τους ξέρω αλλά θα τους εντάξω στις επιλογές μου.
